    The years of being able to farm any old running back are gone.

    And unless they can make some serious defensive changes overnight (unlikely) then that’s going to adversely affect the team even more dramatically.

    The two 8-8 years are going to look good by comparison.

    On the plus side, they’re still in the same division as The Chief’s, Al Davis, and Norv Turner.

    So in a year or two when LT has broken down, LJ has strangled somebody and is serving life in jail, they may still be competitive for a playoff spot with their 5-11 record.

  2. I’m very surprised that they let Shanahan go. I think it’s a bad move for Denver.
