Rockies At-Bat Music 2011

Note: The 2012 post is here!

Hey sports fans! It’s time once again to talk about the walk-up music of Colorado Rockies players. I’m sorry there are so many I don’t know yet. It seems like they’ve turned the music down at Coors Field — I could barely hear anything today and Shazam wasn’t working very well. I spent a lot of time standing by a speaker and I still got a lot of “no match” crap. I’ll fill in the blanks as I find out more.

Update: Thanks to the awesome Jake C for his help with the list, if by “help” I mean “doing all the work.”

I’m putting the list behind a cut because I’ve added Grooveshark widgets for all songs and I don’t want you to have to deal with those if you’re not interested.

  2. Awesome! Thanks Jake .. LOL Helton and his country. Bless’him. Loving Stewarts songs. I will admit Bieber is just fitting for Tulo after a season of Miley. It’s now his MO to have the worst teeny bopper song each year. As much as we hate to hear bieber

  3. Does anyone know the song they play in the 9th inning, its not allegrto by bond because ive listened to it and it sounds nothing like what they play at coors, r u guys sure its that song, if its somthing else what is it?

  4. We were at the Rockies/Giants game Monday, 4/18. According to SoundHound:

Ryan Spillborghs was using “Howlin’ for You” by The Black Keys. It definitely wasn’t Roxanne :) .

Esmil Rogers used “Noche de Entierro (Nuestro Amor)” by Tonny Ton Ton, Lune Tunes, Zion, Wisin&Yandel, Hector el Father, and Daddy Yankee. Not being familiar with this song, I can’t vouch that the software identified it correctly.

Everything else it was able to identify matches up with what you have. The game was so painful to watch so I gathered the music :) .

  5. The song they play in the top of the 9th at home (when the rox are winning) after every out (and strike when there are two outs) is “Palladio” by Silent Nick. It’s a different arrangement of Allegretto by Bond (I have both arrangements).

  6. Also, I thought Ryan Spillborghs at bat song this year was Livin on a Prayer by Bon Jovi, or am I thinking of someone else?

  7. The Song after they win is “All I do is win” by DJ Khalid.

Anyone know what Spilly’s song he’s been doing the last few weeks? Its not the Roxanne or living on a prayer anymore it’s some slow alternative sounding song.

  8. Ryan, I know what you’re talking about but I don’t know what the song is. Today he’s using Living on a Prayer again. He must change his song like every 5 minutes.

  9. Anyone happen to know the background music Coors Field plays when they announce the Rockies line up? Not the montage before the lineup or the one after, but during. It’s a little more subtle since they’re announcing players.

  10. Spilly’s newest song you won’t find anywhere yet. It is his dad’s band. They arent on itunes or anything yet.

  11. Dex has a new walk up song, definitely not Poison anymore. Its a rap song, thought it was “Two Words” by Kanye West but thats not it.

Anyone catch it during this last home stand?

  12. Alex, I finally got it! It’s I’m Blessed by Voices of Unity feat. Deitrick Haddon. It’s not on Grooveshark so I can’t post a widget here.

  13. Alright its that time of year – new songs for 2012.
