HBP Holidays

Here is the HBP pretend holiday calendar:

The first Sunday after Super Bowl Sunday is Super Bowl XX Day
I’m sure the Bears have many Super Bowl victories ahead of them. Until the team returns to glory, we will spend the Sunday after the Super Bowl reliving the glory of the 1986 Super Bowl and the trouncing of the Patriots. Super Bowl XX Day is celebrated by watching Super Bowl XX; listening to the Super Bowl Shuffle and singing along; drinking Chicago beer and eating Chicago-style pizza; wearing a headband on which you’ve scrawled some important message, outdated glasses, a big fluffy mustache, and/or a stylish 80s-style sweater; making butt jokes; and giving everybody appliance-related nicknames.

July 26 is Jose Mesa day
On July 26, 2007, Jose Mesa became the eleventh MLB player to pitch in 1,000 games. To commemorate this glorious occasion, HBP named July 26 Jose Mesa Day, which is celebrated by wearing well-coordinated accessories, eating rice and beans, possibly lying about your age, heckling Omar Vizquel, and generally kicking some serious ass.
