Reading List

Here’s another great idea I had that might or might not ever amount to anything. Here’s the thing. I really love to read (hell, I was an English [and psychology] major in college and I pretty much liked reading everything except Chaucer and Shakespeare, which I hated). However, I don’t read many books. This is because I am picky. Also, after work, going to the gym, going to games, drinking beer, hanging out with cool peeps, talking shit on the internet, buying ridiculous glasses and crazy shoes, eating, watching games, and doing occasional productive shit around the house and what not, I don’t have much time for reading. I mean, it’s really hard keeping up with Sports Illustrated, if you want to know the truth, let alone the other magazines I get, which are mostly girly decorating shit like Domino, which isn’t really very interesting. Anyway, the point is that sometimes, on the rare occasions that I pick up a book and actually read it, as opposed to letting it accumulate on the little shelf thing next to the bed, it’s something really, really good, in which case I want to tell you about it.

So! I’m going to start by listing the current book I’m reading, which is one of the best books I’ve ever read in my entire life. After I finish it, which I’m about to do but I keep putting it off because I hate the thought of not having this book to look forward to because it’s that good, I’ll tell you a little bit about it so you can find out if you might like to read it, too. Then, I’ll do that with other sports-related books I read in the future, which might be like, five years from now. But this is a start!
